Dontcha love Gocha?

Since the series first aired on TLC, Friday nights, in October, I think it was, I've been following Ballroom Bootcamp. The show features the same three dance instructors, each week, Gocha, Chris and Susana, who are assigned a new (average Joe/Jane) student who has never danced before, and have just 5 weeks to train them well enough to dance in the Yankee Ballroom Dance Competition in Boston, or Baltimore, I forget which place. Gocha, the striking and flamboyant Russian fascinates me. At times he's a hardass, at times he seems like a moody, petulant, hot-headed drama queen, and at times a soft-hearted sweetiepie. His Russian wife/dancer, Shorena, is also on the show.

Did you read that someone stole Gregory Peck's star from Hollywood's walk of fame? They did it using a cement saw--just cut the star right out of the sidewalk. How was this not noticed? Any time of the day or night there should have been someone around to have seen/heard this happen. Strange. Atticus Finch, (Gregory), star in or star out, you'll shine on!

Missed a month of posting to this blog. Nobody but my anonymous spammer will have noticed. :)

Thanksgiving dinner was marvelous. Nothing else to report. One word. COLD. It has been freaking cold this month. I can remember a couple of years ago when it was almost HOT on Christmas Day. I don't think so this year.

Over and out.

Thanks, Larry Harris, for the Merlot, the backpack, and the mini Tai Chi lesson!

Sly,

What’s going on at QED? I usually lurk there but no longer. It has gone the same way as Melic. The maniacs have taken over another asylum, or however it is spelt.

Hi,

Sorry to be so late to reply, Lurker, :) Have you been over there recently? I think the maniacs have been straight-jacketed, for now. It may be safe to lurk in the waters again.

Hmmm, the Melic is a clue of sorts, if you be who I think you be, hello and Happy New Year! Keep up the good work--awesome!
